Astino (M) Colour Steel Sheet Sdn Bhd.("ACSS") was incorporated in early 1987 to venture into the manufacturing of etal roofing products. The factory was built on a 3.5acre land in Sungai Bakap, Seberang Prai Selatan, Penang. It was then equipped with only one unit of semi auto metal forming machine. With strong determination and professionalism amongst its management and staff, the company grew rapidly and was able to expand into manufacturing of various building products such as PVC door, P.E. insect netting and stainless steel sink under the renowned brand of ASTINO within a relatively short period of time.

The history of Astino Group Of Companies is a history of progress and growth. In 1996 the group acquired its second factory to accommodate Astino Netting Sdn Bhd. which specializes in the manufacturing of insect netting. In 1997 we built our third factory on a 3 acre land with a total built up area of 52,860 sq ft. to accommodate PVC doors division. While the fourth factory was completed in Nov 1999 occupying 4.2 acres of a land accommodating the group steel roofing division. Recently an art of technology machine was installed to produce the best heat insulation roofing. The group's first factory hassince been renovated to house kitchen sink production line.

- To achieve sales increase of 30,000 metric tonne by year 2005.
- To be market leader in both metal roofing as well as PVC door in Malaysia.
- To set up trading offices and production line all over major cities of South East Asia by year 2005.
